From soccer to skiing to beach volleyball, her love for fun and fitness can be found in her kickboxing classes. While attending San Diego State University she found a new favorite activity in cardio kickboxing. After recovering from a knee injury last year,  she is finally back as a teacher at The Bar! Her classes are structured to promote strength and power while rocking out in a cardio-based kickboxing format

Her advanced certifications include Titleist Pro Golf Expert L1, BASI Pilates Instructor (CPI), ASTYM tool assisted manual therapy, and Rocktape kinesiotape. She looks forward to completing her dry needling training (March 2021) so she can provide a comprehensive treatment regimen for her patients.  Christina specializes in pelvic floor recovery via Pilates, orthopedic rehabilitation pre and post surgery, and neurological retraining for summer and winter sports in Tahoe.

Dessi Starhovska

Dessi moved to sunny Tahoe in 2019 all the way from South Africa and says she couldn’t have picked a better place to live! She started ballet dancing at the age of four, and continued to do ballet and modern dancing well into her twenties. Her passion for ballet inspired her to become a barre instructor and motivate women to reach for their strongest self through fitness and movement. In the summer months you will find her hiking one of Tahoe’s many trails, paddle boarding on the lake or playing tennis, and in the winter she loves to ski and snowshoe. Her classes are upbeat and move quickly through a variety of barre strength movements to sculpt muscles while burning maximum calories. Each class is fun, unique and caters to all fitness levels.

Ally King

Ally is also a Tahoe native. She grew up playing soccer her whole life. She played other sports as well but soccer was her favorite. After high school, she played in Oregon at Lane Community College then transferred to play at San Francisco State University where she graduated. After college, she helped coach at Lake Tahoe Community College before getting her certificate to teach with her sister at The Bar.
